Troubleshooting

Start with Project info: path, toolchains, and loaded modules. If those do not match, change Settings and click Reload in Project info.

Look up project configuration

How to open it and what you see: Project info.

If Project info is empty, this folder did not load EB, DaVinci, ETAS, VCOS, or Neusar. Match the symptoms below.

Opened the wrong project

Check the path at the top of Project info. If it is wrong, close the project and open a project again from the welcome screen.

Settings changes did not apply

Click Reload in Project info, or close and reopen the project. Do not chat against stale paths.

EB Tresos

No EB card in Project info

• The open folder must be the project root that contains .project
• Settings → Install paths: tresos root (it contains bin\tresos_cmd.bat)
• Settings → EB Tresos: project path and the modules to load
• Return to Project info and Reload

「EB Tresos path is not configured」

Settings → Install paths, set the tresos root (e.g. C:\EB\tresos), save, then Reload in Project info.

Wrong module list

Modules in Project info come from include / exclude on Settings → EB Tresos. Reload, then confirm only the modules you want remain.

DaVinci Configurator

「DaVinci project not found」 or no DaVinci card

The open folder must contain *.dpa. See DaVinci Configurator.

verify unavailable

Need Core/DVCfgCmd.exe under the Configurator path. If Project info shows a SIP warning, fix SIP under Settings → Install paths.

GUI does not show latest config

Refresh or reopen the project in Configurator. Save the module from Project info first.

ETAS ISOLAR

「ETAS project not found」 or no ETAS card

Project root needs EcucValueCollection_Generated.arxml and .project. See ETAS ISOLAR.

verify missing param that generate auto-fills

On Settings → ETAS ISOLAR, add the parameter to Auto-assign params (e.g. CanIfTxPduId), then reload.

Wrong module list

Use Data ARXML exclude on Settings → ETAS ISOLAR to skip unwanted paths; leave empty to load all discovered files. Check Project info after reload.

VCOS Studio

No VCOS Studio card in Project info

Project root needs a *.vcosproject file. See VCOS Studio.

Wrong Python version

Studio requires Python 3.8. On Settings → Install paths, point Venv at the .venv created by init_env. AutoC does not create that environment.

Neusar

No Neusar card in Project info

Project root needs a *.nccf (or *.neusarprj) file. See Neusar.

Invalid Configurator path

• Settings → Install paths: Configurator install root (it contains Bin/ — not Bin itself)
• SIP comes with the install and is selected from the project file
• Reload in Project info after saving

Configuration and references

Empty foreign-reference enums

ASW auto-scans the open project. Skip paths under Settings → ASW → Exclude patterns. See ASW.

Mixed project save did not sync

Open Settings → Module linkage and check the owner and each tool's configuration name. Save the owner. Container short names must match on both sides. See Module linkage.
